Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarship Eligibility

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:

• Be a citizen of a country with a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita of US$10,000 or less, as per World Bank data. See the list of Eligible Countries for details.
• Have applied for and met the entry requirements for an Overseas Fee place in a bachelor’s degree program.
• Have completed secondary education outside Australia or a foundation program within Australia.
• Not have previously undertaken tertiary education (except for extension studies completed as part of a Year 12 program).

  • GCE A-Levels: Minimum AAA* (Option 2) or four A grades* (Option 1).
  • Foundation Programs: 97–98% (varies by source).
  • IB Diploma: 40–43 (Option 2 vs. Option 1).
  • Indian Boards: 95–96% (CBSE, ISC, or state boards).
  • Vietnam High School: 9.7–9.8 GPA.
  • US High School: 3.9 GPA + SAT 1400–1500/ACT 30–31.
