3. Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship

The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship (Vanier CGS) aims to position Canada as a global hub for research and higher education by drawing and holding on top-tier PhD candidates. Eligibility Criteria

The following requirements must be fulfilled in order to be qualified to apply for a Dean’s International Doctoral Scholarship:

  • As of December 31, candidates must be enrolled full-time international students at USask in doctorate-level programs.
  • A minimum cumulative grade point average of 80.00% is required of applicants.
  • At the time of application, candidates must have spent no more than 24 months in a PhD program.

5. Council of International School Awards for Undergraduates

For international graduates of CIS member universities wishing to enroll in undergraduate programs at the University of Saskatchewan. Students must fill out the PAWS application for the Council of International School Awards in order to be eligible for this honor. Apply by March 1.

5. Canadian Curriculum Schools Awards

For foreign students completing a Canadian curriculum school with an international (non-domestic) curriculum.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Available to foreign students enrolled full-time in University of Saskatchewan undergraduate programs. A graduate of an international (non-domestic) Canadian curriculum school is required to be considered for the Canadian Curriculum Schools Awards.

6. Teacher-Scholar Doctoral Fellowship

Teacher-Scholar Doctoral Fellowships are given out to domestic and international doctorate candidates in their second to fifth year of study through a university-wide competition held in collaboration with the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning. Recipients who are successful will be trained in teaching at a university and will teach a course under the supervision of a faculty mentor.

Value: $15,000 spread over a year, with compensation for sessional lecturers
