The substantial financial investment that international students make to further their education is recognized by this award. In order to acknowledge and honor the intellectual brilliance and promise of overseas students who choose to devote themselves to their studies at SDU, a restricted number of scholarships are offered.

The second and fourth semesters of tuition for one year are covered by a partial tuition fee waiver; the first and third semesters still require payment.
