The Heinrich Böll Foundation Scholarship Department provides scholarships to German and international PhD candidates.
- Students from Germany (Germans, foreign students): German undergraduate students (both domestic and international); Applications received by the deadline of March 1, 2025, may be submitted before the start of the first semester and up to and including the third semester; a fourth semester may be included if necessary;
- Students from Germany (Germans, foreign students): German master’s degree candidates, including both German and international students; applications need to be submitted six months before the program’s commencement date;
