Eligibility and Requirements for Qatar University Scholarships
- Applicants must meet the admissions requirements of the college and major to which they have applied. In addition, submission of a final official high school transcript for newly admitted applicants.
- The scholarship must be drawn in the same semester of the year in which the scholarship was awarded (especially registration and completion of classes), otherwise, the scholarship will be canceled in that term and the student will be notified by QU email.
- Minimum 95% marks in high school
- Applicants must have a High School Certificate or its equivalent.
- The scholarship amount must be spent during the semester.
- A minimum of 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA is required to maintain the scholarship.
- Applicants are not eligible for this scholarship if they are receiving any other scholarship in Qatar
Documents Required for Qatar University Scholarships
The following documents are required to apply to Qatar University for Graduate and Undergraduate programs,

- Students applying for a master’s degree must submit a bachelor’s degree or higher earned with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.8.

Documents Required to Apply for Student Visa in Qatar
Following are the documents required to apply to Qatar University,
- Online Application Confirmation Page (which should be printed on paper at the end of the online application
- Copy of student passport valid for at least one year
- An affidavit from the financial sponsor that they will bear the costs of studying at the university.
- Copy of the passport / Qatari ID of the financial sponsor
- Bank statement for the last 6 months
- A health assessment form that should be signed by the medical clinic/hospital in the applicant’s country.
- Certificate of “Good Conduct” or “Criminal Check” issued by the authority responsible for the student’s country of residence.
- Letter of approval from the student’s parent or legal guardian for university enrollment (only for undergraduate studies)

New students who want to apply should complete the Qatar University application form and can apply for the scholarship through the application system.
