BIF602 Course Outline
This course, BIF602, provides an integrative approach to molecular biology computational issues. Several algorithmic issues in bioinformatics are the focus of this course. Students will have a broad understanding of using computing methods to solve challenges in molecular life sciences. Recent years have seen a lot of activity in this field, and a wide variety of computational techniques are available.
The course will acquaint the students with current computer methods. By the end of the course, the students will have a solid understanding of natural computing, neural networks, pattern recognition, etc., for tackling bioinformatics challenges and a grasp of the fundamental concepts necessary for them to assess, use, and build novel techniques as needed.
